About Coatings College

Our Mission

At Coatings College, our mission is to provide hands-on and livestreamed training that prepares adult learners for successful careers around the world, in this fast growing industry.

Coatings College provides comprehensive learning, both in-person and from the comfort of your home. After six years of development, we have created an entire curriculum that has been structure to identify your skillsets and place you in the appropriate aptitude in which your professional CV and life experiences are assessed. This model ensures that you are inserted at a skill-level that makes sense! From the introduction to art and color theory, to the basics of starting a business - Coatings College will identify where you start.

Beginner level and prerequisite classes are not mandated for those who have pertinent experience. These classes are required for those that don‘t. Upon initial assessment we will help you decipher if the Artistry Program or the Contractor Elite Group is a better fit for your future.

The vast world of coatings and polish is a collision of contractor and artist. Therefore identifying your goals is the most important part. Our Beginner-level learning is structured on a 4-6 week learning venture. Upon completion, you will be recognized by our National Decorative Concrete Council; a board of individuals composed of five members that are available for a fully comprehensive review.

You will then progress to our Intermediate level program which consists of a 5 week deep-dive into business development and a focus in honing-in on your artistic abilities. This includes everything from developing contracts tailored to your business, to carving, casting and tool-making! This is a fun experience and while you are introduced to a few members of the Artistry team, this is where you Will become acquainted with the instructors that have made this their life’s mission for decades. Highly sought-after mentors that will change your life, will be accesible 24/7 right from the Coatings College app in your back pocket!

After Intermediate training has been completed, Advanced level education begins! This 6-week venture is a little different. While the prequisite classes and intermediate level experiences can be attended as a hybrid learning, we require you to be present for atleast 80% of this portion of the curriculum. You won’t want to miss the deep-dive into completing your semester at Coatings College.

You will leave this program with the tools necessary to run a successful art-centric contracting business. This program does not comply with your state-required contracting or tradesman’s laws. So obtaining the necessary licensures is up to you! We will however teach you all of the real world skills to be successful in your venture.

Classes are available on an individual basis outside of our structured program. However, all attendees must be assessed for skill level in order to be admitted. if the necessary skill-level is not demonstrated - you must complete the required prerequisite training to attend.

Our artists also offer ad-hoc trainings around the country. Currently available in New Jersey, Florida, Illinois and Texas. Upon completion of our trainings you will receive heavily discounted product codes to ensure your money is kept in your pocket, during the most important stage of your professional development. We give you access to all of our connections and will help you take all of the guess work out of growing.
